The series was off the air after only 13 installments, as the show failed to arouse viewer interest. However, it did introduce the Papenbrooks to voice acting, especially Bryce Papenbrook, who won the Speed Racer Sweepstakes

This is hillarious considering there was never a “Speed Racer Sweepstakes.” I booked a spot on the “New” Speed Racer way back when. My character was Crasher Kid. I was in one episode, but this was not my first time dubbing. I had worked many times before this. I started when I was 8 ( 1993 ).
